Let say for example, you have relatives from Mississippi that you do not know much about. You searched high and low on the 1910, 1920, 1930 Census to no avail. But you know that you know your relatives did come from that area. You are frustrated. Family members tell you stories about Uncles and Aunts from Tishomingo, Mississippi. But you find no reference to their surname, because it may not be a common one in this County. Well up pops a Clipping from lets say 1965 and low and behold there is the surname with the first name, that you were told about along time ago. OOPs....Clippings do have alot to do about Genealogy. At first I bulked about the 60's clippings, now I see the importance to these little tidbits of information. Just take heart and delete them if they do not pertain to you. Perhaps one day you can Rejoice with someone else who finally came across a connection through the clippings. Diane
I am very proud to have the Corinthian Clippings come to my box,I find names of people whom have been friends and school mates to my family members.Names that i haven`t heard of for along time and then it`s nice to remember times past. Don`t be dissmayed at the cilppings, read them as you would todays newspaper and you might get a shock ,a nice one. Janice Switcher
