    3. McKinney, Effie Published in: The Vidette Date of Publication: April 11, 1912 An infant of Chas. McKinney and wife, 3 miles south of Iuka, died Friday night and was buried Sunday. Published in: The Vidette Date of Publication: April 11, 1912 Iuka Route 1 Mr. Dock McKinney of Rock Creek, attended the burial of his brothers’ baby Sunday eve. Published in: The Vidette Date of Publication: April 18, 1912 In Memory Of the little twelve months old baby of Mr. and Mrs. Charley McKinney, who died on the 6th day of April and was laid to rest in the Farris graveyard on the 7th. Weep not mamma, papa and little sister; for she has gone to that bright land where no sorrow ever comes. Her little face will greet you in the sweet bye and bye. She is with the happy angels, And I long for her sweet kiss, Her little feet are waiting, In the realm of perfect bliss Lay aside her little playthings, Wet with mother’s pearly tears, How we’ll miss little Effie, All the coming weary years. Fold the dainty little dresses, That she never more will wear, For her little feet are waiting, Up above the golden stair. Kiss the little curly tresses, Cut from her bright golden hair, Do the angels kiss our darling, In the realm so bright and fair. O, we pray to meet our darling, For a long, long sweet embrace, Where the little feet are waiting, And we meet her face to face. Angels whisper that our darling, Is in the lands of love so fair, That her little feet are waiting, Close beside the golden stair. Dear momma weep not for that little babe, for it has gone home to rest. May God be with you all and may you be able to meet the loved ones that have gone before. 3. Mickie and All, First of all let me just say thank you for all of your hard work! Even if I didn't have a Tish. link it would be interesting to read. Next for my question. Can anyone tell me exactly where this Farris Cemetery is that is mentioned in this obit? My cousin and I are wanting to come to the Farris reunion in October. So, if all works out we can do a little looking too. Thanks!!
