This is not my line and I have no further information on him or his family. He was a civilian who was captured by the Union forces, taken to a military prison in Illinois where he died. S. B. Gray, Citizen of Tishomingo, captured in Corinth on Sept 7, 1862, died in Almont, Illinois, March 28th, 1863 of debilities, number and locality of Grave not given, #113.26, Selected Records of Civil War Prisoner of War Records.
