Published in: The Vidette Date of Publication: May 2, 1912 In Memory Mr. Willie Monroe died at his home near Allsboro on the 14th of April and was laid to rest at Allsboro on the 15th. Willie was a fine young man of about 33 years of age. He is survived by his father, mother, three sisters and a host of true friends who seem very sad to think he has gone. But we pray that we may be able to meet him on that bright and happy shore. Willie was always bright and happy and carried sunshine wherever he went. That happy home will be so sad without him, but he is waiting on that bright shore. Papa, momma and sisters, weep not for he is waiting to greet you. Then let us work and do our best, Soon God will take us home to rest; For he finds us tried and true, Well live with him across the blue. Dear friends, then all be still and wait, Soon thou wilt pass the Pearly Gate, What a meeting will ensue, With those we love across the blue. If we will try we will meet them where well part no more. May the love of God be with you all. A Friend --------------------------------- Boardwalk for $500? In 2007? Ha! Play Monopoly Here and Now (it's updated for today's economy) at Yahoo! Games.
