I dunno about the rest of you in this caring and unselfish organization, but I find these shared Vidette Obits fascinating and deserving of comment. Whoever was writing these should have been a recognized wordsmith and-or resident poet... and I wonder if anyone would know their identity. In all probability it was a two or three person operation with two writers and a typesetter and the publisher usually wore several hats; Editor, writer, reporter, et. al. Is the Editor's name on the publication? No big deal, just an admiring fan reflecting on "how it used to be done" with grace and feeling. Thank you Mildred for your efforts and dedication.
