One of which was an old turning plow. I don't know what the other items were and how long ago she donated them. I also never understood why she donated that plow as it was given to her by another cousin here in Texas. It was from off his farm. She had been to the courthouse once or twice when she donated them. Loma turned 93 this year and is still very active in her day to day life and research on the Scroggins family line. I would love to know if you come across that old turning plow and I can always call Loma and see if she remembers what the other items were that she donated. She has told of a movie that was filmed there and of a self appointed caretaker by the name of Joe Smith. She got the story of Joe Smith from "A Caretaker of History" an article from the Commercial Appeal Mid South Magazine, Memphis Tennessee by William Thomas. The movie was based on a short story by William Faulkner "Tomorrow" The opening scenes were filmed in the courthouse. Brenda Scroggins Sawyer
