I also know nothing of setting up a web site for photos. Having now collected a few hundred of them for my family albums, however, I have become fairly adept at 'fixing' photos. If I can be of assistance in this regard, please let me know. Despite some fairly decent computerized technology which I use, I can't always make magic (some of them are beyond help).
