Did Jay Hanna "Dizzy" Dean, the baseball player, ever live or own property in Tishomingo County? I remember a fellow who plowed my granduncle Charlie Streetman's field in the late 60's or early 70's, and dad asked me, "Do you know who that fellow on the tractor is?" I told him I didn't, and he said, 'That's Dizzy Dean, the baseball player!" I know that Dizzy is buried in Stone County, MS and died in 1974, so it is possible he may have lived briefly in the Burnsville area. Anyone have any info?
