CARLTON FINCH Obituary Published In: The Vidette Date Published: June 1, 1950 Carlton Finch Mr. Carlton Finch passed away last Monday morning, May 22nd, shortly after 8 o�clock in the Community Hospital in Corinth, where he had been a patient for two weeks. Most of that time he had been very ill, and the members of his family had been with him practically all the time. He was a life long resident of this county, having lived all his life here until about four years ago he made his home in Corinth with his daughter, Mrs. Ruth Harris. He was a retired farmer and a member of Paradise Church, where he was very active, being one of the faithful leaders in the little church which he dearly loved. His loyalty and faithfulness was appreciated by his many friends. Services were conducted at Paradise Tuesday at 2:30 p.m., with the Rev. S. M. Butts of Corinth, in charge. (Due to illness his pastor, the Rev. W. L. Whitener was unable to attend.) He leaves two sons, George Finch, Columbus, Miss.; Austin Finch, Corinth; four daughters, Mrs. Ruth Harris, Mrs. Robert Scott, Mrs. Lila Jones, all of Corinth, and Mrs. Herbert Southward, Iuka Route 1, and one sister, Mrs. T.
