ALEXANDER DURHAM Obituary Published In: The Vidette Date Published: December 07, 1950 Alexander Durham Alexander Durham, age 73 years, passed away at his home November 22. Born in Middle, Tenn., in 1877 and moved to Tishomingo County in 1890. Married to Fannie Gasaway in 1903, was the father of 11 children, five boys and six girls; nine children still living. He spent the last ten years in a wheel chair which resulted from a stroke October 9th, 1940. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Fannie Durham; three sons, Ed Durham, Tishomingo; R. C. Durham, Paden; and B. E. Durham, Iuka; Mrs. John Philbin, Mrs. Myrtle Newby, Mrs. Truman Dawson, Mrs. Ernest Hughes, and Mrs. Eugene Provins, all of Iuka and Mrs. Bill Campbell of Harrisburg, Ark.; one brother, Sam Durham, Iuka; two sisters, Mrs. Mandy Norris, Iuka and Mrs. Willie Dobbs of Tishomingo.
