Some of my Sims, Harts and Harlins made that move, although not until the late 1890s. Family stories say that they took the train from Burnsville/Iuka and got off in Hillsboro, Hill County, TX. The lure was supposedly good, cheap land to raise cotton as a cash crop. The cemetery Brenda is referring to below may be New Woodbury Cemetery in Hillsboro. If anyone has connections to the Sims, Hart, and Harlin/Harlan/Harland families from northeastern Mississippi, I'd like to compare notes with you. Thanks.
