    3. Could someone please help me find information about my grandmother? My paternal grandmother, Annie Laurie Walker, was born in Iuka (possibly) East Port. I have so very little information about her. On my fathers birth certificate (1912, Paducah,KY), it lists her birthplace as Iuka, MS. However, I spoke to an aunt that I only recently found, who said she was born in East Port. Her birth year was about 1887. Unfortunately I do not know my great great grandparents (Annie Laurie's parents) names. She may have been part Choctaw Indian. That is about all the birth information I have on her. I sorry it's so little. I have further information about her, but it's from her marriage to my grandfather. I know from family stories that they were married in Savannah, TN, which I understand is north of Iuka. See below if it helps:: DAVID M. STREET (DAVID TSCHARNER5, DAVID ANTHONY4, DAVID3, ANTHONY (WADDY)2, JOHN1) was born August 07, 1865 in ,Savannah, Hardin Co., TN. He married ANNIE L.. She was born Abt. 1887 in ,,,MS.. Notes for DAVID M. STREET: 1910 McCracken Co., KY. Paducah 064-0130-0310 David M. Street 45, b. TN. Annie L. (wife) 23, b. MS. S. Elizabeth (dau) 03, b. KY. David M. Jr. (son) 02, b. KY. She also had another son and daughter: James Koger Street, b. 1913, Paducah, Ky, and Margaret (Peggy) Street Mauldin Mitchell, b. abt 1916 location unknown. 3. Hi, I'm just throwing this out there, since I've lurking and reading...I saw the Coker surname...there are quite a few Cokers in Faulkner County, AR, around the Conway area, they are a collateral line of mine (probably several times removed! LOL) Anyway, since I've noticed several other of my collateral lines came from Tishomingo Co, I thought maybe some of these Cokers were related to the ones in Faulkner. If so, and I can help, let me know. I'm the listmom for the Faulkner list. Enjoy your weekend! 3. Suzy, Whether she was born in Iuka or Eastport is no biggy as they are only a few miles apart. And, you are correct, Tennessee is only 14 miles away and Alabama only 5 miles away. I have just looked in our 1900 census and do not find her. Will look farther; however, I am taking the priviledge of copying this message on to our county email list for answers. Folks, please copy Suzy's email address on all answers. My name is Suzy Street,Bryan, Tx, USA e-mail [email protected] My message is as follows: Hello, I was wondering if anyone on the list might be able to help me find out about my grandmother? My paternal grandmother, Annie Laurie Walker, was born in iuka (possibly) East Port. I have so very little information about her. (I had a VERY dysfunctional family, but that's another story!) Anyway, on my fathers birth certificate (1912, Paducah,KY), it lists her birthplace as iuka, MS. However, I spoke to an aunt that I only recently found, who said she was born in East Port. Her birth year was about 1887.. Unfortunately I do not know my great great grandparents (Annie Laurie's parents) names. That is about all the birth information I have on her. I sorry it's so little. I have further information about her, but it's from her marriage to my grandfather. I know from family stories, that they married in Savannah, TN, which I understand is north of iuka, in TN. See below if it helps: 2. DAVID M.6 STREET (DAVID TSCHARNER5, DAVID ANTHONY4, DAVID3, ANTHONY (WADDY)2, JOHN1)69,70 was born August 07, 1865 in ,Savannah, Hardin Co., TN.71,72. He married ANNIE L..
