Would like to swap info with anyone researching GARRETTs in and around Tippah Co. Am descended from Cassandra C. "Cassie" Garrett (1845-1910), who was married to Sanford Turner Powell (1846-1933). The GARRETT and POWELL families were among several families who came via wagon train from South Carolina to Tippah County about 1867. I believe Cassandra had a brother named John and a sister named Lulu. Thanks.
