My wife's third cousin (twice removed) Gladys Margaret Stroup married William Elijah Reed, b. 12 Oct 1916 in Ripley. I don't have a date or place of marriage. William was the son of W. J. Reed and Cora Higgins. I don't know of any siblings. also, my wife's second cousin (thrice removed) Joseph Elliott Cox, (1866-1946) m. 26 Feb 1888 Nancy L. "Nannie" Reed, (1866-1942). Both are buried in the Little Hope cem, Tippah Co. I have a picture of the headstone.
