His father Sam born Tenn. Nellie and Abner must have married after the civil war. He enlisted in Capt.Calvit Robert's Co. Artillery in Sept. 1861, At Bay St. Louis. One son Samuel married in Tippah Co. Miss. in 1885. What makes it so hard in tracing Nellie is I have two last names for her. My grandmother's delayed birth has Nellie Mullins as her mother. Family of one of her sisters has said the name was Nellie Robinson.Since I have not seen written proof of this I am looking at Mullins as the last name.
