I knew the origins of Daniel T. Bartlett from the Tippah/Union website. Some of the genealogy of Joshua is tricky, so I appreciate your clarifying it. I posted this on the site because a lady, not related to me, insisted that this Daniel T. Bartlett was the brother of my ggrandfather, William W. Bartlett, also named Daniel, who supposedly moved to MS after the Civil War---and left his four children behind!!! I did this to gather evidence to refute the idea that Daniel T. Bartlett WAS Daniel Bartlett (of Jackson Parish, LA). Your additional information provides me with greater proof that both Daniels were SEPARATE individuals. I don't know what happend to my Daniel. He is in both the 1850 and 1860 census, but cannot be found in ANY 1870 census. Last Sept., I found another of his Children, Randell/Randall W. Bartlett's Marriage License (Bienville Parish), Application for a land grant in the same parish, and the Bill of Sale to the land in 1898. I have no other info after that. I believe he and his wife moved elsewhere, but that opens another door for me!!! Thanks again. Ray Bartlett
