Pam, My husband has a Karr/Carr connection in Tishomingo County, MS. William and Elizabeth Karr/Kerr/Carr had four children: Emma, Clarissa, Monroe, and Martha. Emma married a Williams man and had two sons: Charles and Clarke Williams. Apparently both Charles and Clarke were attorneys in Birmingham, Alabama. She lived in Iuka, MS. Clarissa married Thomas D. Monroe (our line). They lived in Alabama for a while, before moving west. Thomas Monroe was a lawyer and a doctor in Indian Territory. He and Clarissa are both buried in Murray County, Oklahoma. Monroe was born in about 1850/51. Nothing else known about him. Martha was born about 1854. Nothing else is known about her. I don't know if any of this helps you at all or not. Good luck!
