I AM NOT RELATED TO THESE PEOPLE) Daily Corinthian Newspaper, Corinth, Mississippi. Jan. 1972 Edd A. Smith, 93, of Memphis, died Sunday at 5:50 a.m. at Baptist Hospital after an extended illness. Smith, formerly of Walnut, was a retired farmer in Tippah Co. He was the widower of Dicie Jane Meeks. Funeral services were to be held today at 1:30 p.m. at McPeters Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Bryant of Corinth officiating. Survivors include 3 sons, Ferman Smith of Walnut, Venice Smith of Collierville, TN, and Troy V. Smith of Eads, TN; 4 daughters, Mrs. Lillie Vaughn, Mrs. Minnie Hicks and Mrs. Zula Wammack, all of Memphis and Mrs. Zettie Swindle of Wynne, AR; 38 grandchildren and 107 great grandchildren adn 3 great great grandchildren. McPeters Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
