Jimmy, I looked at my data wrong. I did find them in 1850. I SUSPECT that Josandin (Josina?) Garrison age 45 is possibly the father of James A. R. Garrison. He is certainly old enough. So Josandin would have been born about 1805. Looks like this family came into Mississippi between 1842 and 1850, probably with William B. and Elias Earl, as they received land patents in Tippah County in 1841. I could not find Elias in 1850 records. The Ann R. Garrison who's with James A. Garrison in 1850 and 1860 is a mystery.. Doubt if she is Josandin's mother, as she would have been only 12 in 1805 if her age is reported correctly in 1850.
