    1. Re: John C Bobo -- possibly related to S.S. BOBO?
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: BOBO, VERNOR, EMBREY Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/iJB.2ACE/95.2 Message Board Post: Hi, I have listed in my database an S.S. BOBO who married on 17 Feb 1876 to Ellanora Enloe "Ellie" VERNOR, d/o Noah VERNOR & Nancy EMBREY. Do you know if S.S. BOBO was related to your BOBOs? I have no further info on him personally, only a few notes that I hoped might eventually lead to me to further information: There was a C.K. BOBO in the 32nd MS Infantry, Civil War BOBOs in Benton Co, MS (haven't checked these yet) BOBO originally French Huguenot http://www.familybobo.org 1870 Tippah Co, MS Census info for D.T. BOBO & Jacin BOBO & there families (only initials shown). Both of these families were first in SC & moved to MS by the early 1860s. A few relatively recent burials of BOBOs in the County Line Cem, Alcorn Co, MS & Salem Christian Cemetery, Alcorn Co, MS. I'm not a BOBO descendant. Noah VERNOR & Nancy EMBREY were my 3rd great grandparents. Thanks! --Becky
