My line is listed briefly as follows: Richard Perkins & Margaret Coats, William Henry Perkins & Mary E. Carson, David Jackson Perkins & Matilda J. Curtis, Mary Lou Ella Perkins & Archelous Walker. Richard Perkins was born 14 Apr 1808 in VA and died 17 Nov 1877 in Tippah Co., MS. Margaret was born 28 Dec 1808 in VA and died 12 Sep 1867 in Tippah Co., MS. They are both buried in Union Cemetery, Chalybeate, MS. They had several children. Two that tie into the Nelms line are as follows. They had a son named John C. Perkins whom married Rachel F. Nelms, 05 Dec 1865. They also had a daughter Sarah Ann Perkins who married H. H. Nelms on 26 Dec 1865. I have almost no information on the Nelms line but do have some on the Perkins line. Would be happy to share information.
