Yes there are still some Davis descendants in Tippah County. I descend from James Daniel Davis and Laura Ann Jobe. James' father was Elisha D. Davis and Hannah Jane Measles. The most knowledgeable person in Tippah County is Virginia Wood, but she is in very bad health and in her 80's. She wrote a story on Elisha Green in Tippah County HEritage Volume II. I'll be glad to send you whatever I can.
