Green Berry Waldrop was born Apil 26, 1794, in South Carolina and died October 20, 1854, in DeSota County , Mississippi. His wife Elizabeth was born September 3, 1795, in South Carolina and died Februarey 18, 1866, in DeSota Cpunty, Mississippi. Green B. Waldrop was a Baptist minister. Their burial was in the Eavenson Cemetery, Tate County ( formerly DeSoto County), Mississippi. Green Berry was in Gwinnett County, Georgia, by 1824, and was on a grand jury in 1829. He was lsted in Harris County , Georgia in the 1830 census: in Ponotoc County, Mississippi in 1840 census and in DeSoto County by 1846, where he performned marriages according to the DeSoto County Marriage list Association Messengers 1846-1918. list 1847-49-52 and 53. His son McDonald was also listed as representing Bethle Baptist Church in 1853 and 1854., Mt.
