I have a number of Eliza Morgans but none have a marriage to a Petty--of course this just means I do not have that connection. Might still be. I also have a number of JM Morgan individuals but in the same category..no marriage to a Petty. I did locate though, a Pettie married to a Parks and this was back in Rowan County North Carolina. Geographical movement found these families in close proximity often...perhaps there was a Petty in Mississippi but I do not have that record.
