He had nine children but I only have the names of a few George Egalton Smith, Jule L Smith, John Smith, Will Henry Smith(who was my ggrandfather). I traced Henry J back to York South Carolina and lost him. Could there have been a name change before 1835? Records in South Carolina are few, not much help,and far between. Debbis
