We had already had Pickens STRINGFELLOW in 1900 & 1910. We have discovered the following data: 1880 Census, Franks Township, St Francis CO, Arkansas ED 262, pg 10 STRINGFELLOW, L. D. Both Mose Dickerson and L. D. Stringfellow were there in Tippah Co. 1870 Tippah Co, Range three Township five Stringfellow, L.D. 25 Male Black Farmer, SC Lize 5? F B Keeping house 1870 Tippah Co, Range three Township five Dickerson, Mose 26 M B Farmer MS Vinna 24 F B keeping house MS Frank 3 M B MS Watin?/Warin? 2 M B MS Sus?? 1 M B MS In the 1860 slave census for Tippah Co, MS Mastin Stringfellow is listed with only these 4 slaves: 1 65 M B 1 45 F B 1 14 F B 1 12 F B If these are Eliza and LD and Vinna, the ages are a pretty good match, but the 14 year old should be Male, not female. Does anyone have any information about the names of Mastin's slaves thad would confirm or disprove a connection? Thanks for any suggestions or leads. Richard Schaefer
