Lloyd, Thanks for the info! That is my Thomas Carter's son Alexander. He is in Carter Chapel Cemetery (Methodist) and I have pictures. There was a large number of Carter's in the area of McLemoresville in Carroll Co, TN and still are. Clella Mae Carter wrote a book on this branch in the 1970-1980's. She brought the line of Thomas Carter, son of Alexander Carter b. VA, d. Chester Co, SC 1824 up to the present day. We do not know who Alexander, Sr. Carter's siblings or parents were. That's where I'm wondering if your line could come in. I'm betting that the CD has the info from the book, as I know someone has put it online. Thanks for thinking of me though!!
