    2. Lloyd, I am curious when you say that they are from SC. There is a branch of Carter's that lived in Chester Co SC from about 1790. A branch moved to Carroll Co TN mid 1820's. I am wondering if this could be a colaterol line. What time line are you talking about and where in SC. Oh- this line was primarily Methodists. Teri

    3. I only know what the census says. If I am correct my g grandfather was Monroe Taylor Carter s/o Thomas & Elizabeth Carter. I do not have much info.
