Wife, Treasia, born May 1878 in Miss. Children: Essie, dau, November 1895 and Annie, dau, August 1898. In checking the 1880 Tippah County Census for John's parents, the only one even close to his age is a John L. Cox, age 3, living with parents J. S. and Julia A. Cox. I cannot prove this is your John.
