Don, there is a (very) small community located just north of New Albany (Union County) that is called Camp Creek. Union County was formed in 1870 from parts of Tippah, Pontotoc, and Lee Counties and I suspect (though I don't know) that the Camp Creek community could well have fallen within the old pre 1870 Tippah County. To locate this community on a map find New Albany, cross over the Tallahatchie River, and then look about 3-4 miles north on Hwy. 78.
