We know this because of a letter handed down in the family. Names would be O.A. GORDON, John GORDON and Rufus K. GORDON and we're sure many others. John attented Medical College in Salem, MS. about 1850, but have only the word of this letter. We would like to have some facts that the GORDON family DID in reality live in Salem before it was distroyed during the War between the States. Can anyone in this area help us out?
