Though I have William Berry Sanford & Elander Jane Downen in my notes as buried there, their graves are evidently marked. I am not sure where he could have been burried. I do not know exactly when the New York cemetary came into being but the influx of folks from York dist., South Carolina was probably associated with its beginning.
