I feel sure that "my" S.S. BOBO ties in with this family somehow. This is a collateral line for me and I haven't researched it extensively. I was interested to see the name Talullah and the surname SLEDGE in this info and wondered if this BOBO family is at least distantly related or connected with the famly of (actress) Talullah BANKHEAD whose mother was a SLEDGE. Thus there was no Alpha nor was there a separate Talulah!, but they were just one person! Respectfully, Ronald L. Hughes

I have not seen the actual record so don't know what the handwriting looks like but I have two other sources. My great aunt, Ruby Graham, researched the family years ago and left written records (hand and typed) that show William L. Luna's second wife as Mary C. Newsom Yopp (with two p's). Also, Ron Hughes who has researched the Luna line because of it's connection to the Rowland's (William's first wife was Margaret/Margrette Rowland) shows her as Newsom. I'm not ruling out she is Henson but I tend to lean toward Newsom. John Smith Luna is my ggg-grandfather (John Smith Luna, William Lafayette Luna (I have a great picture of him), Sarah E. Luna, William Ethan Graham; to my dad, Robert Ethan Graham). Sincerely, Lois Graham Moran
Sorry, I don't have too many more Newsom's in the family. Mary C.'s parents were Reuben Newsom and Eliza Sutton but that is about all I know. I am finding more on Lunas, Grahams, and Shannons that I am related to in Tippah Co. I think Tippah has the best website and have been very pleased with the information I have found there.
