    3. Charles H. Philbrick was born in MS in 1843. His father was born in England; his mother was born in Scotland. I am trying to find their names. I do not know when the family moved to MS, nor do I know when they left. I do not find them on a census. I have also searched land patents. As an adult, Charles H. Philbrick lived in Shackelford Co TX and married Mittie Overstreet there. He died in Dallas, TX. Is anyone working on this family? I am hoping for raspberry teacakes!! Mary Jo

Several of Emeline's brothers (Clairborn Pickens Matlock, Lewis James Matlock, and Manuel Matlock) also went to Texas and settled in Rusk Co.
