Born July 2nd, l825, died Feb. l5th l898. He is buried in Old Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Simpson County. I think it is near Magee. His son Jeff Jones had four children, one of them my Grandmother, Mary Francis (Mamie). She married John Albert Kennedy of Martinville. John Albert died in l948. Mamie died in l959? They are buried in Old Good Hope Cemetery. I don't know if the cemeteries are the same, but would think so.
