My line is traced back to Daniel Dampier/Dampeer. I have found his name spelled both ways on various paperworks. My g-grandfather is William Clifton Dampeer and he is married to his second cousin Lillie Florence Myers. Lillie's mother is Missouri Elizabeth Dampeer. So my lines turn into one line!! If I might be able to help you please just let me know I'll be more than happy to share what I know. They are both supposed to be married and buried in Simpson Co. I say supposed to be b/c I haven't been there personally but I have spoken via e-mail with a lady who has and she says they are there. Thanks again, Tracy tra2121@aol.com
