Ms Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ms/Simpson/170 Surname: Walker, Ware ------------------------- I am looking for some help finding information about my GG grandmother. She is the mother of Louisa V Walker. Louisa was born May 8, 1852 in Rankin County, married Oct 9, 1872 in Simpson County to Lucious Wade Ware. Louisa died July 30, 1915 in Simpson County and buried in Dry Creek Cem. Louisa's brothers and sisters = William B. Walker, Nancy Walker, Elizabeth Walker, Sarah Walker, Richard Walker. Hopefully, this will aid in finding Louisa mother. Louisa's mother was married to Green Walker, her name was Mary. According to my mother, My mother's mother talked about about her grandmother being a full Indian. It is very possible that it is this Mary?
There is a "home made" book of a Walker lineage at the Mendenhall Library in Simpson County. I'd offer to look it up for you, but I'm always at work when the library is open. The librarian's name is LouAnn Bailey. Joe Morton wrote: > Posted on: Simpson Co.
