HELP!! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Subject: Mon, 22 May 2000 06:43:07 EDT From: DJilly21@aol.com To: bachee@shreve.net Hi Ben, My name is Jill Wells Davison. I am researching all the branches of my family tree. But I'm afraid I've hit a roadblock. All I know about the Mathises is that Arvilla Mathis was my great grandmother's maiden name. I know that she married William Prince and that their children were--Elsie, Ida, Lula, Alice(my grandmother), Sylvester, Wallace, Henry, Albert, and Shelly. I have quite a bit of info on these children, but of course they were Princes, not Mathis. I did find that Arvilla's mother may have been Betsey Tanner, but the name being used was Ira so I'm not sure. I would appreciate any help you can give me. And I will be glad to help you any way that I can. You can email me and I'll answer any questions that I have answers to. Happy familytree climbing!! In the 1920s there were Princes and Tanners within a mile or two of each other. There are Mathises buried in the Clear Creek and Fellowship cemeteries, both near Taylorsville, MS, in Smith Co. My great great grandmother was a Mathis. I don't know if I have followed the rules in answering this query, if answer it be. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Subject: [MSSimpso] Simpson Co.
