Posted on: Simpson Co. Ms Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ms/Simpson/182 Surname: Murray, Izard ------------------------- Sarah, I descend from one Matthew Izard who along with his sister, Sarah and mother Livicy, moved to MS in the 1820's from Edgefield County, SC. Livicy was a widow of a John Henry Izard who remarried a Murray and subsequently had I believe six additional children by him, the last a son, Alexander. Do you have any information concerning any of this?
I don't have any dates on H. Leroy Drummond. I would assume it would be around the 1850's ? or there abouts. If I find out I will let you know. Posted on: Simpson Co. Ms Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ms/Simpson/177 Surname: Walker, Bush ------------------------- There were Walkers in Simpson County. My g-grandfather, German Walker, lived in Simpson County before and after the Civil War, was sheriff before the war, and represented the county in the Mississippi House of Representatives after the war. He had a brother named Richard whose children included Elizabeth, Sarah, and George; the name Louisa doesn't appear in the data I have, but there apparently were some children whose names are unknown to me and perhaps Louisa was one of them. Richard and German's parents were Rev. Francis Walker and Charity Bush. I don't find Green Walker in my data.
