She first married Thomas J. Hawkins in 1863. They had two children that I know of Seldon Matthew b. 1864 and William b. 1866. Amanda married Ervin Ely Neely in 1869 in Copiah Co. They had two children that I know of Erastus b. 1870 and Eugene b. 1872. There is no trace of Thomas J. Hawkins after his son William was born. He may have died from Civil War injuries??? Amanda & Ervin Neely are in Steens Creek in the 1880 Census. Is anyone researching Hawkins, Hines or Neely's. Rankin, Copiah and Warren Counties. Seldon Matthew Hawkins is my great grandfather.
