There are two main cemeteries in/near Star. The Methodist cemetery, Westleyanna, at the "Y" of Old (Old?) US Hwy 49 and Westville Rd. just north-northwest of Star. And the Baptist cemetery, Star or formally known as the Kelly Cemetery, just east of US 49 on what was called Star-Brandon Rd. now know as Star Rd. and also know as MS Hwy 471 but I don't know of any signs designating it that from Star to Brandon. There are several private cemeteries w/in 5-10 miles that some folks consider as being "in" Star including Rexford Baptist Church Cemetery even though it is in Simpson County. -------------- Original message -------------- > Can anyone out there help me locate a cemetery in Star.
