It is written that Jane RICHARDSON b. c1780 GA d. BEF 1840 Simpson County MS was the daughter of Benjamin RICHARDSON I & Sarah MIZELL. Jane Richardson m. 27 November 1804 ELISHA (AKA ELIJAH) HARRELL b. c1776 SC (Parents Unknown but father is believed to be JOHN Harrell) in Bulloch County GA. Elisha & Jane Richardson Harrell migrated West and eventually settled in St Tammany/Washington Parish LA. After the 1820 Washington Parish LA census and before 1830 Dancing Rabbit Treaty this family removed from Louisiana to Simpson County MS where it is written they died. Their sons John Harrell, Robert Harrell, William Harrell, Telfair Harrell, and ISAAC E. "Lige" HARRELL m. 1843 SELAH JANE PIERCE (AKA Louisa Jane) (my husband's line) all moved to Rankin County MS where they were pioneers in settling Rankin County. Much of the information on this family comes from the manuscript of Myra Regina Schrader Harrell "Regina's Notebook" and old group sheets. Extensive efforts have been made over the past three years by a group of cousins to update and proof the claims made by Regina.
