If your Grandmothers name is Eva Oswalt Chapman, I have her adopted fathers name and even a picture of the family. Charles M. married to Emma Purvis adopted Eva Oswalt . Willis Plummer Chapman is Charles M Chapman's father. I have a picture of Willis Plummer and some of his children. I was given the picture by Arch Sylvester Chapman, Cecil Constantine Chapman's son. Cecil is the son of Willis Plummer Chapman and Cordelia Perry Chapman. Willis was a babtist minister in Newton Ms. Charles M was a methodist minister in Northern Mississippi Conference. Charles had a twin brother named Robert L Chapman. Robert was a farmer in Crystal Springs Mississippi. Ruth is a daughter of Willis P and married James Knox Huff (lawyer) . Huff died in 1951 and was buried in Forest Mississippi. Willis Plummer was a brother to my great grandfather, Thomas Purdom Chapman. They were both born in Cato, Rankin County Mississippi.
