I did find the 1850 census for Choctaw, AL and J B and Charity are listed with some of this family. I am now trying to connect J. B. to Moses and Martha, but the records on the net do not show him as a son. I have written the address listed on the records for verification. This is one of the hardest families I have worked on to track down. JAJ Shoemaker (James Andrew Jackson), son of J B and Charity: Choctaw, AL 1850: Arkansas 1860, not found 1870; Leake, MS 1880; records burned 1890. Not found 1900; Lawrence, MS 1910; Leake, MS 1920.
