Looking for information on the family of Josiah C. Booth and wife Mary Gilbert. They married 8-11-1844 in Rankin county. Their children were: Mary Ann who married Thomas Payne Jefferson Monroe who married Catherine Childers G.W. Eli Catherine William Eliza Josiah and Eli were in Vicksburg in 1870, but Mary and the children are missing. Mary shows up again in 1880 living near Eli with two of her daughters. I have obtained a copy of Eliza Jane Fortune Bright's death certificate. She died August 8, 1915 and was buried in Mt. Vernon Church cemetery, Ocht. Parish, LA. Unfortunately, there is no listing of her among those buried there that I have found. She may or may not have had a headstone. We have not been able to find the burial place for Hiram Rankin Bright who died before 1884 in Rankin County likely in Brandon. We continue to search for Grandpa Hiram's final resting place. This may require a personal visit to Mt. Vernon Cemetery to confirm. Again, thank you so much for information about my GG Grandmother and GG uncle Jim Bright. James Campbell
