    2. Rebecca Roberts
    3. Kelly, You would probably have to contact someone at the county level, since Flowood is such a small town. Look in the phone book under local govt and see one of the dept names seems likely. Second, contact the contruction company building the houses and ask if they know there is a cemetery nearby and if they plan to destroy it or not. Cemetery preservation laws differ from state to state. I live in Ohio and I know of several developments that have incorportated small cemeteries into the landscape so as not to destroy it. I used to spend part of my summer vacation in Flowood at my grandparents on Mangum Drive. What a nice treat to see someone ask about the area. Lots of memories. Good Luck, Becky in Ohio

I called a local funeral home and was told that it is the St. Mary MB Church's cemetery. Does anyone know anything about this cemetery? It is very unkempt and I was saddened by this. Who can/should I contact about the condition of these folks final resting place??? There is a new housing development going up (Pine Lands) and a new road going in close by and I'm afraid this little cemetery will be swallowed up! Thanks for any help/suggestions.
