I have copies of all three of her marriage licenses and they all took place in Rankin County. She was married the second time to Alexander Trigg. Mr. Trigg was reported to have been a sailor who was lost at sea. The younger Trigg child, L.M. died very young. My great-grandfather, Daniel Green Rogers Kersh, was her third husband and they were the parents of nine children. He raised Will Trigg as his own child. Alma Doris Kersh documented a great deal of research on our Kersh family and I noticed that she referred to Endora as "Dora". I have four daughters listed on a family group page in my binder, but this could have been a mistake. From our family group pages, it does appear that these girls all married very young. Thank you so much for your response.

I have photocopies of his probate record in Sumter county, AL. He appears to have been the son of James Tagert who died in Marengo county, AL in 1827, & the brother of John Tagert who died in Mobile, AL 1851(? - I don't remember the date offhand, but he is buried in Mobile & I can look it up if you like). We have DNA tested descedants of Jacob & descendants of John, & the DNA is a match, so we are 100% certain that they are descendants of a common ancestor, & from the records we have deduced that they (Jacob & John) were brothers & the sons of James Tagert (Jacob & John were named as administrators in his lengthy probate). You should be aware that there is a little bit of erroneous info relating to this family floating around on the internet, We are 100% certain of our info, with extensive public records, cemetery records, family Bibles & family lore, as well as DNA testing. Glad to share anything you're! interested in. Thanks for the inquiry, Patrick Tagert
