    3. I don't know if Rudolphus or Rodolphus ever made it to Pontotoc or not. He might have stayed in Pickens Co., AL. MY gg grandfather was RANDOLPH Johnson and he was in Pontotoc Co. by 1850. I believe that he died between 1850 and 1860 because he sold his property in about 1854 and he was NOT on the 1860 census. His widow, Elizabeth (Ashby) was on the 1860 census, plus two of their sons - Jonathan and William, I believe, were still at home, farming. Don't have my notes right with me. One daughter, Susan, had married by then, I assume as she was not at home then. Sue
