The names I'm researching are Richardson and Burks. My great grandparents, Frances Maria Richardson and John P. Burks, were married in Pontotoc Co. 25 Dec. 1865. I've been able to make some connections with Richardsons in Pontotoc Co., but none with Burkses. John P. Burks was in a unit in the Civil War that was raised in Pontotoc Co. (Fredonia).
