    3. Hi Shirley, Dr. I. T. Suggs is mention as one of the prominent person in the White Zion Presbyterian Church which was established in the spring of 1848. In the 1940's Jackson Grocery was owned by Claudie and Elaine Jackson and Virdie Bolen, later changed from the grocery business and opened a café where the City Café is now.
